Whilst the pear season is going at full speed we thought it would be a good idea to create a delicious almond & pear cake. Of course in combination with our Rum Babs - Banana, Vanilla, Ginger, Cinnamon flavor!
Ingredients cake :
- 75g of sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 200g of Almond powder
- 5 table spoons of Rum Babs - Banana, Vanilla, Ginger, Cinnamon
- 1 puff pastry
- 5 pears
- 25cl of cream
Follow the recipe step by step below.
/ CAKE /
1 / Wash, peal & cut the pears in two (remove the seeds)
2 / Line high-sided round pan with the dough
3 / Mix in a bowl the cream, the egg yolk, the sugar, the almond powder & Rum Babs together
4 / Pour the mixture onto the dough and add cut pears with their rounded side up.
5 / Preheat the oven at 180 C.
6 / Bake for 30 minutes at 180 C.
